Using 3D printed guides to accurately place dental implants.
Using 3D printed guides to accurately place dental implants. This case involved replacing 2 teeth that were congenitally missing at birth. After the patient had braces to open up the gaps, 2 dental implants were placed. The teeth (crowns) were then attached to the dental implants to create a beautiful long-term smile. The dental implants were placed in the most accurate way possible, This was done produced by “virtually” placing the dental implants in a computer program, which was then transferred to same position in the mouth, using a 3D printed guide.
