We are pleased to report that Brian and Vicky, who have both been with us for some time have purchased a practice of their own in Midhurst, Sussex. Brian will be staying on for a while, but Alan Knight, a colleague of Brian's from University has joined us to take on Brians workload. We are also very pleased to announce that we have managed to recruit Anika Patel, who has been covering Sally's maternity leave, on a permanent basis. Anika has proved very popular with both staff and patients and is an expert with the latest cad cam technology. Anika is a valuable addition to the team. Invisalign have a special offer on their new i7 product. This is a new virtually invisible orthodontic appliance to correct minor problems in the front teeth and relapses in orthodontic treatment. The cost is £250 per mini implant which includes the cost of placing a mini implant and fixing an attachment cap into an existing denture. The building works at Belmont Park are almost complete. It's amazing how much better everything looks when the carpets go in! Thanks to patients, staff and residents of Archbishop Coggan House for their forbearance during the works. The new reception desk is due to be fitted next week and we look forward to updating the website with new photographs.
Catherine and Sally, both on maternity leave, have both had baby boys. Congratulations to both. We are pleased to welcome Anika Patel who has joined us to cover Sally's maternity leave. Christine is also working some extra sessions to cover Catherine's patients.
Belmont Park Dental Practice is nearing the end of a comprehensive refurbishment programme which makes the practice more accessible, gives us two more surgeries and a dedicated decontamination area in line with the latest government guidelines. The refurbishments will be complete by the end of the year and all the staff are looking forward to welcoming patients to our new environment.
We have recently launched our new website which combines the Belmont Park and Glenshiel Road practice websites to reflect the close relationship between the two practices.
